Happy new year! With both STAG Servers and SweptThrone's 12 Days of Christmas now concluded, I'm gonna ramble on about STAG Servers and the future because there's a lot to say. So let's get started!

STAG Servers
To recap, STAG Servers—which stands for SweptThrone Avant Garde Servers—was a series of four experimental Garry's Mod servers—each known as a STAGE, or STAG Experiments—that ran from July to December 2025. Originally, there were only three servers scheduled, one each for July, August, and September, but I decided to extend it midway through the first STAGE. These four servers were the most dead servers I have ever run in the history of running servers. Because of their unusual nature, I figured people wouldn't be too interested in them over the long term, but I didn't think it'd be this bad! That being said, I don't really care that much. I made what I set out to make and I'm happy with what I did. Let's go one-by-one through each STAGE.

STAGE 1: Blitz TTT
Blitz TTT was a TTT server where the round would not end until all traitors are confirmed dead, or when all innocents are dead. There were some other minor tweaks, but that was the main gimmick. I thought this was a super interesting way to shake up TTT because it caused players to be so on-edge after killing someone. Was that a traitor we just killed or is this an elaborate ruse and you're going to kill me as soon as I check this body? Naturally, there were more improper killings than in regular TTT and everyone's karma, on average, remained lower; it was actually pretty difficult to maintain a perfect karma which again, is a really interesting byproduct. If I ever decide to open a TTT server again, I think this mechanic is going to make an appearance.
You can also pick up the win condition script for yourself here.

STAGE 2: Gang War RP
Gang War RP was a spiritual and more coherent successor to my TDM RP server, AnkoRP, from 2020 and 2021. Where the previous servers ran on an awkward round-based format, Gang War RP was a never-ending territory control battle. Above all, the true purpose of this server was to finally create the handful of addons I've had on the back-burner for up to seven years, the oldest of which being STHackerWar. I also wrote a small program to sloppily turn NPC models into playermodels. This server was a ton of fun even though it only hosted a few play sessions.

STAGE 3: Infiltrator
Infiltrator is a custom asymmetric gamemode that pits one sneaky infiltrator against the rest of the server. The infiltrator must sneak into a facility, complete objectives, then leave. This server was the one that was added late, and it was added in between two stages because STAGE 4 was the main attraction of the whole event. This server actually had the most sessions out of all of the STAGEs, even attracting a group of 12 friends to come play without me. Wow! Despite its popularity, it was concluded that the gamemode was often frustrating to play as the infiltrator, and too easy to play as a guard. We figured either guards essentially had to roleplay as NPCs or the infiltrator needs to take a full hour to complete one mission for the gamemode to feel balanced and fun. Personally, I'm totally psyched about playing the gamemode in both of these ways, but I can see why anyone else wouldn't be. This server also caused me to make my first binary module for Garry's Mod which was an adventure in itself.
You can pick up this gamemode here.

STAGE 4: The Big Apple
The Big Apple was the magnum opus of STAG Servers and perhaps even all of my work on Garry's Mod. It connected three separate DarkRP servers into one mega-experience with shared chat and data among all three servers. Money, jobs, entities, votes, and more were all synced between all three servers as seamlessly as Garry's Mod allows. Unfortunately, this was, by far, the least popular server out of all four due mainly to my friends not really being roleplayers, but also due to me not really doing much in the way of organizing sessions or hyping it up. Despite all of that, I am extremely proud of the work I put into this server and would host it again in a heartbeat if there's a solid amount of interest in it.

The Future
So what lies ahead? If you've paid attention to my weekly progress reports, you'll have noticed that Tale of Flocksworth, my standalone game, has been getting no attention for the past several weeks and has been replaced by GMod stuff. I hope to change that because I really haven't been working at a good pace, which is due to a variety of legitimate reasons. That being said, here's the main point of this very long post:
Garry's Mod is, once more, going to take a backseat to Tale of Flocksworth. I want 2026 to be the Year of Flocksworth and therefore I plan to work so much more on it and really get it moving. However, I need to acknowledge that I tend to do this every year; I'll say I'm "done" with Garry's Mod, work on something else for a bit, then fall back into Garry's Mod, only for the whole cycle to repeat. Maybe that'll happen again, however there is a major difference this time around: just about every addon I've released as a part of SweptThrone's 12 Days of Christmas has been planned for several years. STOilMogul and STMoonshine are three years old, STFishing Neu and STCoffeeShop Neu are both over four years old, STHackerWar is an astounding seven years old; most of these addons are nothing new (to me) and are just finalizations of very old ideas. The same can be said about the servers themselves. Gang War RP is just an improved iteration of AnkoRP, Infiltrator is a dedicated gamemode version of an impromptu gamemode my friends and I played in 2022, and The Big Apple is a continuation of STRP and could even be traced back to UnnamedRP from 2018. This has never been the case before! Usually, when I "quit" Garry's Mod, I still have a catalogue of addons I want to make, but I'm just about out this time around. So all of that to say that it is my intention to take an extended-to-indefinite break from Garry's Mod but I also acknowledge that I do this sort of thing regularly.

I think that's all I got for today. Thanks for reading, thanks for your interest, and see you around!

This is a late announcement post for the various changes that have occurred since April 17.

First and foremost, SweptForums now has a shoutbox! Located on the home page of the forums, you can now shout out anything that's on your mind! Not much more to say about it, it's there.

Secondly, I've updated how user groups and titles are displayed. Now, instead of only having one user title, you can technically now have three! You can have a custom text-only title as well as a user group banner image and a post count banner image. You can see how some of these look in the member list.

Finally, to explain all of these banners and even the forums' rules, the help documents have been updated with new documents for banners, groups, and rules.

EDIT: Since this announcement, I've made a few more changes. Everything is now stored in the forums' database with Unicode support, so emojis will appear across the site from now on. Also, the reputation system has been enabled. You can now rate posts and users to add or subtract from their reputation. Finally, I turned off the redirect pages, so you won't see that annoying confirmation window for a few seconds after doing anything.

That's all for today!

I changed up some links a few days ago, which will result in some links no longer working.
These changes are just changing subdomains to directories and changing directories to subdomains.

The changes are as follows:
Link to my Discord server: discord.sweptthr.one → sweptthr.one/discord
Link to my addon collection: gmod.sweptthr.one → sweptthr.one/gmod
STDocs pages: sweptthr.one/docs → docs.sweptthr.one
Hunt AHAEG: sweptthr.one/hunt → hunt.sweptthr.one

I believe I updated links in all of my addons and YouTube videos, but I think posts in these forums have not been updated. I'll have to look around and try to find and fix them.

Additionally, I have recreated my Steam group with a new name, Swept's Group, at the same URL: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/sweptthrone

Things may be messy and look bad, so just post about them or something and I'll fix it.
Post counts also seem to be off, it seems to be counting most of my posts twice, which is interesting, but that shouldn't affect anything.

Talking About Projects

Today, I'm deleting the unused SPIHGUOY Zone and replacing it with the soon-to-be-used Codename Pineapple Zone, and also talking about the SPIHGUOY Zone.

The SPIHGUOY, or Secret Project I Haven't Given Up On Yet, was originally going to be some sort of standalone medieval-themed RPG. It was going to be loosely based upon a medieval town I made on my Minecraft server, Flocksworth. At some point, I intended to name the game Tale of Flocksworth. I have a folder of very vague notes related to this project, including weapons, skills, some very basic sprites, and brain-dumps. Perhaps unsurprisingly, this project never went anywhere; in fact, it never even got started! I didn't even know what platform I should use to make this game, so as time went on, the possibility of this project becoming a reality dwindled.

Knockback was a similar genre of project, another standalone game. This one was supposed to be an arena PvP fighting game where there was no actual damage inflicted, instead players had to rely on the knockback weapons dealt to push each other off the arena. This one actually had a movement test created, but also went nowhere. This project had two channels on my Discord server for a very limited time.

Anyway, the SPIHGUOY Zone existed as an incentive to push me to do something. If I had a place dedicated to sharing updates about this project, maybe it would push me to fill it with posts. That didn't work though, and the whole zone remained completely empty for *reads through forum logs* almost exactly two years. Two years and ten days, to be exact. So today, I'm finally deciding to just get rid of it and replace it with a zone for Codename Pineapple, the project I've been actively working on for (I think) around a full year now.

While this forum zone exists, I don't really intend to fill it with posts. The first public reveal of any part of this project will take place on my YouTube channel once it's ready, which may be a long time from now. I've been working on this one much more actively and consistently, and I'm very excited to get it done and show it to you all. You can keep track of my progress on this project on my Trello board which I try to update in real time throughout the week. Alternatively you can join my Discord server to see these updates weekly, but there's a reason you're here and not there, right?

That's all I got for today, if you're here reading this, thanks!

You may have noticed that for the past six months or so, I have done next to nothing for Garry's Mod. Maybe you don't care, maybe you care a lot because that's the whole reason you've been following me in the first place. Regardless, this announcement will attempt to clear up what's been happening for a while.

Codename Pineapple
I've put Garry's Mod stuff to the side to make time for this new project I've been working on on-and-off since January. It's a large project and it's quite unlike anything I've done so far. Some of you might hate this new project, some of you might not, I really don't know, but it's something I want to do, so I'm doing it.
The reason it's taken so long to make any meaningful progress goes back to something I said in an older progress report:

Weekly Update - Week of May16-2021 Wrote:SweptTTT Stuff
As I continue looking through my old work, I grow increasingly disappointed and disgusted with the way I did things. I did the worst shit in the worst ways and somehow got it to work. Does it work well? Hell no, but it sure is something. I took a look at what I'd done previously for SweptTTT and noticed that I neglected a lot of helpful hooks and - unsurprisingly - did everything else in the worst way I could've (editing core files). I took some time to try to spruce things up just for peace of mind, but I doubt I'll go further than this. Which brings me to...

Learning
Once again, I continued learning more and more for the project I want to work on. This project will basically require me to do everything in the best way possible so I'm trying to learn as much as I can about as much as I can to make this what I want. I still have a lot ahead but I'm hoping all of this time will result in something I'm proud of and can remain proud of looking back at it in the future.
(In case you were unaware, I post weekly progress reports on my Discord server. I also update my Trello page with the same information live.)
I want to do this project right and I want to do it right the first time, unlike the 100+ addons and bot I've made that are always broken in some way.
When the project is ready to be seen by anyone, I'm planning to do a reveal stream for it, so stay tuned for that. There is no anticipated date.

Garry's Mod Stuff
As of today, all of my addons, workshop or otherwise, will be receiving essential support only until further notice. This has been the case for a while, but I'm making it official just to let everyone know. This means that things will probably not be receiving any new features, but if any errors or problems come up, I'll get around to fixing them. As has been the case, feel free to extract and edit my addons for use on your server.
SweptTTT will remain open for the time being, even though player numbers have flatlined. The dual wielding I showcased a week ago will probably slowly be finished and released as time goes on.
I will also continue to provide help in the Help and Bugs subforum if I am able to.

Other Stuff
STAssistant will continue to receive bug fixes and maybe even a few new features here and there. I haven't had a whole lot of reason to dedicate a significant amount of time to this, but I have had some ideas that I might make a reality.
My website still needs a makeover, so I will also be continuing with the fourth version when I feel like it.
I also had plans to work on a chatbot to coincide with the previously mentioned reveal stream, but the API is so bad, this would probably end up being another major undertaking.

TL;DR and Wrap-Up
Garry's Mod is support-only and I will be doing a reveal stream of the thing I've been working on for the past year once it's done. There's no estimated date for this.
SweptTTT will stay open.
Progress reports will continue as they have. I will also keep updating my Trello page.
This post will be posted on my Discord server.

Today marks the biggest change I've ever made to the community. I am officially dropping the name Throneco and its abbreviation TCo in favor of SweptThrone and ST.

This has been something I've been thinking about for a very long time, and after putting it to a vote in my Discord server, the community and I agreed on the change.

I had three main reasons for this massive change:

I have long been the only one who does anything with Garry's Mod anymore. The situation in the past was much different, having been me being the one making things and a bunch of my friends helping out by testing or coming up with ideas or just supporting the things I did. Those times are long gone and due to a variety of reasons, I am the only one left consistently working on any sort of code-related stuff.

Googling "Throneco" yields a few relevant results but a lot more for a portable toilet company (lol) while Googling "SweptThrone" yields relevant results but more importantly me, the one who makes the things.

"Throneco" sounds like an official business or organization to me, which it absolutely is not. In the past it's been just a group of friends messing around playing video games, and to this day it's still just me messing around with code stuff.

The vote in the Discord server resulted in 9 in favor of the change and 0 opposed, so the choice was clear.

Here is what this massive change will imply:

The Discord server has tentatively been renamed to "SweptThrone's Hideout" and its icon changed to the illustrated chicken in a top hat.

TCo Assistant, the Discord bot, has been renamed to STAssistant.

The TCoA Testing Grounds Discord server has been renamed to the STAssistant Testing Grounds.

Addon icons will not be changed due to there being 120 of them as well as for history's sake.

Any mention of Throneco in addon descriptions and old media will be preserved.

Any mention of Throneco in relevant and future media will be replaced with SweptThrone or simply removed.

The Throneco Complete Pack has been renamed to the SweptThrone Complete Pack.

The Throneco Steam group is no longer the highlighted group, now the SweptThrone's Marketing Department Steam group is the primary group.

The headline on these forums has been edited to exclude "and Throneco."

I am not trying to separate myself from the Throneco name, rather just move on from it. It started as a joke where I acted as a company to be able to recreate a bunch of funny corporation-style jokes, like aggressively offering friends sponsorships and such, and then grew into what I called myself and community. As aforementioned, over time I slowly became the only "member of Throneco" and yet would still attribute everything I did to everyone by using "we" and "us" in any sort of media. Times have changed and now I'm gonna be the one taking all of the credit, which I think is the better decision.

Everything in the past was brought to you by Throneco, but now everything is brought to you by SweptThrone.

The TCoA Testing Grounds Discord server has been renamed to the STAssistant Testing Grounds.

Thanks for sticking around and thanks for reading!

I once again took the default themes and made them other colors. There are now another two themes to choose among.

These themes are:
They Vibe - Deep purple theme. Full of good feelings and calmness.
They Burn - Hot orange theme. Full of heat and comfort.

I again made sure to give them edgy names.

If you prefer some brighter names, here are those alternatives:
Lucid Grape - Deep purple theme. Purple like a juicy grape.
Lucid Orange - Hot orange theme. Orange like an aromatic orange.

To change your theme, go to your User Control Panel, then to the Board Preferences tab and change "My board style."

Please report any issues you may find, such as certain elements not being colored.

EDIT Sep1:
I removed the "Views" column from thread lists since they were all inflated by bots anyway.
